Patrick O'Dooley is a native of Dallas, Texas. He attended the University of Oklahoma
on an athletic scholarship, graduating with a degree in marketing. After serving in the U.S. Army overseas as an aviation officer, O'Dooley returned to Dallas, where he enjoyed a successful career in sales and sales management with IBM and Steelcase Furniture Corporation.

He is a charter member and past president of the North Texas Speakers Association. In addition, Patrick O'Dooley is a Certified Speaking Professional, the highest designation given by the National Speakers Association, on Whose board of directors he has served. Today, the author is president of his own consulting and speaking firm.
